The Old Manse also has a bright and sunny breakfast room overlooking landscaped gardens. Home-cooked in-room suppers can be pre-ordered. The Old Manse was built in 1863 for the Church of Scotland, and its lovely views extend towards the isles of Kerrera and Mull. All individually decorated rooms are spacious and have a TV, radio, hospitality tray and hairdryer.

The Old Manse is a delightful place to stay. The owners are great hosts and they have an attention to detail. Upon arrival they helped us with our bags and offered us a cold beer. The decor in the room we stayed in was superb and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious but a little more variety could have helped. Excellent hosts.Comfortable room and notwithstanding disappointing weather views from our accommodation out to Mull were still atmospheric. Must be superb on a good day! May come back one day since our main objective was to see Staffa.which had to be aborted due to the adverse weather on the day of the trip.

They also sponsored my walk up Ben Nevis for charity, Cannot believe there is better in Oban for this price and close to town!. Everything about The Old Manse says quality. The owners are so friendly, the furnishings are excellent, the food was fabulous. There was loads of advice before and during our stay about where to eat and what to do. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here to everyone I know!. Excellent location with easy walking to city center and restaurants, beautiful view of Oban harbor, clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfast and friendly, accommodating hosts. All considered, this was a wonderful guest house and we would definitely stay here again. The warm welcome from our hosts and the spotlessly clean room and public areas. Also the beautiful view from the bedroom window and dining room. Breakfast was very good and varied. Nice thick white towels, changed daily if required. Quite close to town for evening dining. Delicious breakfasts. Incredibly comfortable beds.Thick, fluffy towels. Mini sherry decanter as well as teas, shortbread etc in the room. The beautiful harbour and islands views from our front facing room. The hosts of the b+b - warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hosts are excellent. Proximity to town center for restaurants and shopping is an easy walk. Simon and Anna have lots of knowledge about their area. The breakfasts are very good with a nice variety. Attention to detail is obvious through out the house and yard. Simon and Anna are very friendly and offer a very warm welcome. The small decanter of sherry in the room was a really nice touch. Nothing was too much trouble and breakfast was superb. I would definitely stay again and will recommend to friends. Our hosts were delightfully helpful. The room tastefully presented, with very thoughtful, classy touches. Breakfast was cooked and presented perfectly. The accommodation is just a short walk to the town centre. Excellent welcome, lovely breakfasts, great location for town. Also just the small touches, e.g. a little decanter of sherry in the bedroom. Would fully recommend The Old Manse to anyone coming to Oban. Simon and Anna make you feel very welcome as soon as you arrive , breakfast is well worth having , rooms are clean and tidy all the time ,all is good at the Old Manse , Well recommended. Delightful family runs this bed and breakfast. Made us feel most welcome. Had a lovely room overlooking Oban bay complete with chairs by the picture window. Bliss. Excellent room and huge bathroom. Relaxing and quiet. great location, lovely friendly couple, good breakfasts too ! really nice touches like the sherry, yummy biscuits on the tea tray complete with a teapot. Very friendly, helpful hosts. Large room with lovely view. Centrally located for town, harbour, walks & ferries. We highly recommend it. Lots of charm and owners were very friendly and hospitable. location only a few minutes walk to seafront and shops etc. Parking space available and easy to find. Everything hit the spot for a relaxing 4 day break. leaving!. Ok, if pushed, hubby wasn't so keen on the sausage!! Not enough to put anyone off staying there!. Nothing. The b+b is not accessible to wheelchair users and has a fairly long flight of steps going down from car park to front door without a hand rail. We hadn't realised before we booked/arrived. Leaving!. Not the biggest car park going. err....nothing !!. N/A. Changeable & unpredictable Scottish weather, out with the control of the owners of course!!. would have liked to have seen decaffinated coffee provided in bedroom apart from that great stay. Nothing. found the bed a bit too hard for us and curtains did not block out much light so hard to sleep. The priciest place we stayed of equal properties. I can't eat a big breakfast so quite pricy. athroom a little basic. there was nothing that we did not like. Showers could be stronger but the house is 100 years old. The weather!. nothing. Liked everything. Nothing. nothing. Poor Car Parking.
