There is a park right across the street for kids to play! Apartment is also all on one floor with only one step to enter. The owner provided cereal, milk and bread which was unexpected and appreciated. The bus into town stopped right outside the house.

Kitchen exceptionally equipped, all areas immaculate, plenty of hotel-type comforts provided eg shampoo, soap, coffee, tea, and handy extras eg washing up liquid and cloths, binliners etc. No prob checking in early.   To start off our 3 days we were arriving after the check in time, but the owner stayed up to let us in and told us the best way to get into town to get something to eat. Each day we got a great offering at breakfast and our room made up. We were really made to feel at home the whole stay. - This is a family guesthouse, and that explains why you feel so much at home there. The floor cover, design and dining room all make you feel a special guest. Breakfasts icluded, wifi is free. And fast. Plus a relatively close distance from the center - that's the best investment for a young couple, friends or a solo traveller who want to enjoy Edinburgh in any time of year.

The breakfasts were great and they even made other guest's meals that weren't even on the menu!! They both work really hard and long hours and always have a smile on their faces. They made the start of our trip to Edinburgh.
