  Absolutely wonderful place to stay!!! We came with a 4 month old, and they could not have been more accommodating! It was raining and they even lent us umbrellas for the day. The room was wonderful, clean and the staff were beyond nice. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting Edinburgh. Location, Price, customer serviceand general atmosphere was more than I could have hoped for. We didhave one problem that when we first got our room it wasnt clean butthis was quickly rectified and we got a new room and a welcome pack.Only other problem was tv reception but I did not spend much timewatching tv anyway.

  The location was great, just a stones throw from shops, theatre/bars/restaurants, Princes Street and other attractions. The staff very helpful (especially the doorman-William), the rooms were very well equiped, clean and tidy and escaped out onto a rooftop expance that gave great views out over Edinburgh. We were given a rooftop garden room which affords great views over Calton Hill and towards the sea. The beds are very luxurious. The hotel is near all the main shopping and attractions. The honesty bar is great and reflects well on the hotel. Breakfast was right out of the top drawer. 1st class break.

  The apartment has an excellent location. It was clean and comfortable although quite small. The parking is very convenient with a connecting lift (once you have the key) although it is quite expensive. Close to food shops and coffee shops (perfect!). The owner was fantastic: great communications before the trip and very obliging once we arrived. Would highly recommend.

  The decor was great in the hotel. Was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. It felt tremendously homely and the bed was so comfortable. Went for the weekend ghost hunting and the hotel added to the ambience. The bath had jets in it and since Edinburgh is so hilly sorted out our weary legs. Would definately go again and recommend. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was great. Breakfast choice was varied and of a high standard and the hotel itself is a wonderful Georgian building. Some of the reviews I had read portrayed the hotel badly, I would say totally ignore this - it is a great hotel.
