  we enjoyed everything, the room was nice and warm, the food was superb and the pool was great. the meal was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. - Friendliness of staff, ambience of the hotel, accessibility from themotorway, parking, facilities+++

  The room had been recently refurbished and was in excellent condition. It was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. I was very impressed by the decor and layout of the room. The leisure facilities were a welcome bonus that one often does not get in a city centre hotel. The food in the bar was of a high standard and reasonably priced. The hotel's location was very central and the shopping centre was a stone's throw away. The room was of a very high standard and the stay was very pleasant. We are planning another visit to the thistle again in january. I would Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking fro somewhere central, comfortable and high class.

  Location... not far from Queen Street station by taxi and as we were going to a concert in the SECC being able to walk via the walkway was a huge benefit. Despite the hotel being really busy the staff were efficent and very chatty. I have never slept in a bed so big and comfy before.   The Junior Suite was immaculate and very well set out. We had a turret in our room and i especially liked the small table and 2 chairs situated in it so that you can be cosy and have a good view of the gardens and beyond. The bathroom was spotless and the king sized bed was very comfortable for both of us. The staff were very helpful and very appro... mitä ihmiset sanovat » achable about anything always being pleaseant and polite. Breakfast was fresh and very tasty. The staff could not be have been nicer. - I was only there for one night arriving in the evening and then off in the morning so didn't get enough time to spend using the hotel facilities. However the new conservatory and food there was good value and comfortable. The newly refurbished room(s) are tastefully done and facilities excellent.
