  Really enjoyed our stay - you could not meet a nicer or more genuine couple than Dot and her husband. The room was really nice with a lovely shower and big tv. Breakfast each morning was brilliant and had a nice choice of a fry or continental. The location is a bit outside the city centre (about £8-10 for a taxi at night) but during the day there ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » is a bus literally right outside the door. The chef even gave us change for the bus - The room was spacious, lovely big bed, bathroom was fab, very clean and very comfortable.The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is outside of the city but the bus stops every 5 mins just outside of the hotel so its ideal and you avoid the heavy parking charges for staying in the centre. Breakfast was good with a hot and cold buffet available. We would definatley stay here again.

  What a fabulous Guest House. In a true Scottish Manner I was met at the door and made to feel absolutely welcome. The staff were very professional and friendly and couldn't do enough for us, especially at breakfast. Our breakfast was a true Scottish munch - very well presented and not thrown together. The guest house was great too; very clean and cosy. And the breakfast was freshly prepared and great tasting too.

  The location for Edinburgh city centre was perfect, the bus stop wasright outside the hotel and took 5 minutes at the most to get you intothe centre, much quicker than by car. The owners were exceptionallyhelpful in all aspects including booking a taxi to our restaurant. Theroom was a lovely size and decor and it was all very clean. She went beyond expectations for helping us w airline details, reservations, information, etc. She happily got up very early to provide a lovely continental breakfast for 2 of us w early flights. The tea and full breakfast were sumptious and delicious. Rooms smallish but well appointed. General decor, landscaping, etc were lovely!
