With a bus stop just outside Minto House, Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station can be reached after a 15-minute bus journey. The Royal Mile is also within a 15-minute bus journey of Minto House. Edinburgh Festival Theatre is 15 minutes’ journey away on foot. Just 1.5 miles away are Princes Street’s shops and gardens. Prestonfield Golf Course is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the property. A hairdryer, a kettle and a selection of toiletries are also provided in each room. Some rooms have beautiful views of Arthur’s Seat, the main hill peak in Holyrood Park. A range of continental buffet options are available at breakfast, which is served in the wooden-floored dining room. Free Wi-Fi can be accessed in public areas.

We experienced a serious accident two days before we left. Our granddaughter studying at E.U. helped us navigate and get to airport. She stayed with us two nights. Nadia, the owner would not accept any extra money for her being with us plus Nadia was most concerned and helpful. Nice breakfast, cereal, fruit etc. Clean, large room and same for bathroom. Anywhere we wanted to go by bus was available right outside the door. A bonus!.

The service was very nice. The owner is looking very well after her guests. It's a very relaxed atmosphere there. We also prefer continental breakfast. Minto B&B is offering an excellent continental breakfast. Excellent location, 25 min walk to the Royal Mile, also bus stop at the door. Super breakfast. Excellent owner, very personable. Free parking in the back . Large family room with private bath. hospitality of the personel is perfect.this B&B is safety place and,close the city center. Convenient location with helpful and friendly owner/manager. Not fancy, but very nice. The Staff(Nadia) is so great..I have never met a person more 'available.Room are good. The lady who runs the place was very friendly and kind. Breakfast too was very good. B&B was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was cossy and very clean. The landlord was very friendly and helpful. Large family room with shower and toilet. Staff's Hospitality. The location was great , nice neighbourhood , quite close to the city centre. Just 20-30 min from old town on foot Breakfast was fine and the lady was really helpful. Great location for getting into town. Relatively cheap. Problem with lock on the door was fixed with little problems. There were no mirrors in the rooms, that could be used for applying make up or hair styling. The double bed was a little narrow, singles were excellent. Everything was fine. In the night not too much buses for Minto street. A bit old building specially on the outside and it could have been a bit cheaper I think. Very poor breakfast. There should have been the option of a cooked breakfast, or at least scrambled eggs and/or beans on toast. This could easily be done, for little extra cost to the b and b, so I'm not sure why it wasn't? We were not the only people that noticed this lack of diversity. The owner was standing in the breakfast room and could easily have been topping up the beans or taking orders, rather than doing nothing. Sad carpark on your site but their had none. The fact I booked an out of room ensuite but it turned out to be two out of rooms for ensuite. No hand towels, particularly as we had separate lockable toilet from separate lockable shower. We choose this hotel (and booked it in september -to stay in may)only becouse it has private parking, but when we came the was no place for our car instead that we booked 2 rooms but had only 1 car and asked for it from day of booking and send e-mails until 1 week and until 1 day also. It was unpleasant. Without parking we could take the hotel with cental location and with prebooking the same price or cheaper and with bathroom in the room. Only 1 bed side light was working. Lock on door jammed and had to be changed on the second night. Wadrobe too small and suit could not fit in. Very tight to move around the bed. Too much noise from the street. Table inside the room too small. Cold coming in through the window. Waterr from sink tap in shower room too hot !!! No cold water running from cold water tap. Toilet and bathroom inconvenient to acess as not located in same room.
