The staff at a Room with a View were extremely helpful and pleasant. Although my room was very small, it was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. England was experiencing one the worst heat waves in years and of course there was no air conditioning. However, the staff gave me a large fan which I sat in front of my window and it cooled the room quite nicely. The view of the English Channel and the Pier at Brighton was marvelous. The food was excellent and I really appreciated th.

The hotel is in a perfect location, with wonderful views of the sea, pier and the Brighton Eye. The hotel is spotless throughout, and the rooms are wonderfully equipped! The bed was huge, and the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and the ensuite wetroom a delight. There were thoughtful touches everywhere- a coffee machine, lovely biscuits, and chocolate; bath robes and toiletries; a smart tv and WiFi.... Great location with a view of the sea, pier and big wheel. Looked wonderful at night. Easy to walk to restaurants, shops and bars - great selection of places to go. Very warm welcome and efficient, quick check in and help with car parking. Everything is very freshly painted and extremely clean. Nice light bright breakfast room. Lovely comfortable bed and high quality bed linen which is very important to me! Nespresso machine in the room - marvellous! We are already planning our return . Superb accommodation and friendly staff. This B&B hotel opened in December 2012 after a 6 month delay in opening. The attention to detail is great, and the furnishings are sleek and modern. I think you would be hard pressed to find better accommodation in Brighton. We loved everything about this hotel and cannot fault it. A great deal of thought has gone into making staying here a memorable experience. It begins with considerate parking facilities on arrival, helpful staff and superior accommodation with a great breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble and the facilities are of the highest standard. The staff were fantastic - they overheard me insisting I pay for the room to my boyfriend as it was his birthday. Later in the evening they came upstairs to give him some chocolates as a birthday present! Food was great and the bath was lovely. Views were fantastic and it really felt it was a treat to be there. We had a mix up with the booking, we had changed from a two night stay to a one night stay. Unfortunately they thought it was a three night stay. I felt bad about leaving the room vacancy. Only negative I could find was the size of our room (on ground floor) - it was quite tight for space, but I gather the other rooms are bigger - it was a last minute booking and all the other rooms were full. I had a faultless stay. Elderly guests may find the slightly uneven stairs and fairly low bannisters a challenge, so suggest the ground floor room. Nothing. Having to leave!. Nothing to dislike. n/a loved everything!. Nothing. No one mentioned the steps. We were in number 7 and that was 3 flights up. It was t a big deal, just wasnt expecting it. Parking could have been a problem as you might get stuck in by other cars, I was lucky as I was not blocked in. But I wasn't and parking was free and other guessed who were were helped by staff to get cars out without any hassle. Very well managed. Some traffic noise (ear plugs provided ) Parking could be a problem, but wasn't when we stayed. We only could stay for a night!. Although I appreciate the attractions of the beachfront location I think more should be done to dampen the road noise. The wooden shutters, although very nice would probably be more effective with some heavy curtains to help. That said I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay there. There was only one small aspect for us which was the stairs! There's no loft, but we knew this before we visited, so that was our choice! But to be fair to the staff they were very helpful with our luggage and accommodating to the best of their ability. Nothing!. Bathroom was slightly too small. I can think of nothing just a great hotel. Nothing. Nothing to dislike. Our room was quite small and hot, although Steven did his best to keep it cool. Nothing at all with this establishment. Leaving this delightful home away from home. Not a thing!. had booked the balcony room at the front, two of the windows did not open at all, the one that did only opened about two feet, so i had to go on hands and knees to get in and out! very busy road,with ambulances going past on the blues and twos quite regularly, the hospital is not far away. Nothing it was wonderful. Having parking is a bonus if you get there early enough (we did), but the busy traffic flow at the front means entry/exit needs patience. There was nothing not to like. The single room was a bit small for me, but that wasn't major because it was thoughtfully designed. Ask about room size when booking. Mine (no 2) would have been a challenge for a larger person. Nothing - the hotel is perfect. nothing to dislike!. -WiFi did not work. -There is no elevator. -Being a B&B, the property closes at 10.30 pm, which was a problem due to the late arrival of my flight. Scrambled eggs overcooked. Absolutely nothing. Nothing to dislike. The room was a little on the small side, but we knew that anyway. Fine for a single night, but maybe a bit cramped for a longer stay. Otherwise, nothing.
