Lovely large room with huge bathroom, the freestanding bath was a really nice feature, the only problem being inadequate lighting in the bedroom area - lovely lamps etc but I couldn't see what I was getting out of my case properly!!. Yes, the stairs are a bit of a nightmare (certainly get you puffing), but they wouldn't stop me staying here again

From the moment we stepped in, the place was inviting. The check-in process was fast and easy as they were expecting us and I only needed to provide my first name...no annoying paperwork. The room was small, but clean, which is most important! We only stayed one night and spent most of time exploring Bath so the size of the room didn't hinder our comfort. We had a huge room - loved the canopy bed. The beds were really comfortable. The staff were really friendly. The mint on the pillow was a really nice touch! - The four poster bed and size of the room made the stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Everything! We stayed for one night and were pleased for the whole experience. It was a lovely Georgian House situated on top of a hill overlooking the countryside. It has been kept in an excellent condition along with some modern fittings, such as a lush en-suite for the master bedroom (recommended).

Thanks so much to Ian and Alison for a great stay in their B&B and we were very appreciative of their warm hospitality and comfortable accommodation. We felt like we were part of their family coming home for a few days stay. I would thoroughly recommend High Beeches as a great spot to stay, with the bus to Bath just nearby and a good pub with meals within walking distance
