Although we were in Aberdyfi for a family of friends wedding, we enjoyed a friendly welcome from John and Megan. We were late in arrival due to a car breakdown, and they were understanding and actively involved in helping us in our dilemma; we still have to return to collect the car and are hoping to stay with them again.

Breakfast was excellent, owners very friendly and amazing views from the
guest lounge. Very comfortable stay, good cinema In The next village and
some nice pub food locally. Great seafront location shame about the
gales and driving rain but that's Wales.
The family were very welcoming. They gave us good recommendations re booking for dinner. The lounge over looking the estuary. The home made bread and home made jam. The fact that it is a family home with family history.
Megan and John were so friendly and helpful. Megan's cooking was special too. We felt overwhelmed by their hospitality. Could not recommend it more highly.
Well equipped room

3. Breakfast.
Hosts and breakfast both excellent.
Friendly hosts.
Everything.

What we didn't like is that we weren't staying longer.
nothing to dislike.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Car park is 5-10 minutes walk away and main car park can get very full at weekends.
Not bad but parking is about 5/10mins walk away.
Noise from the room above.
1. Room a little small
2. Lack of on-site parking.
Room at the back of the house which was a bit gloomy, also a bit small. We were told rooms have been moved from the front of the house where there are great sea views because of road noise, but we think this is to suit the hosts and their family not the paying guests.
