The staff here make the place what it is. They are all amazing and hilarious and work super hard to make your stay comfortable. The hostel is also a hotel and restaurant and bar and sheisha bar and the food is delicious and not too expensive. If you are a musician then they have guitars. a violin, bongos, tambourine and another crazy turkish instrument which I don't know the name of. Best hostel iv stayed in and Iv stayed in many many hostels!

- Location: the hotel is located in sultanahmet, which is close to the city's landmarks (TopKapi, Blumosque, AgaSofia, Hippodrome, Grand Bazzar) and others. Also it is close from the tram's station.

We are 3 friends and stayed in this hotel for a week in May'13.
Location is really perfect. This hotel is best for a city-trip. It's 5 minutes walk to Hagia Sofia and Blue Moscue. Tram station is also not so far.
The building is a historic one, after the restoration. Living in a tradition house is a special experience for travelers.
Staff is extremely kind and helpful!
Breakfast is quite simple but absolutely enough to start your day in Istanbul!

The dorm rooms and facilities are amazing with private curtains for the beds as well as some of the nicest bathrooms/showers I have ever seen in a hostel. It is centrally located in Sultanahmet or the old town of Istanbul that was formerly Constantinople. It is within walking distance to many of the historical attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Topaki Palace. Location, comfort and breakfast - all faultless. Room 227 was indeed a superior room with a stunning sea view, plus tea/coffee facility. Female staff were incredibly helpful. Young male reception staff varied. I hope all staff received some of the large tip we left at the end of our stay as we so seldom had the right money at the right time.

Istanbul is eclectic, lively and definitely worth several days exploration! The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we requested anything. After leaving the hotel, when a problem arose, the reception staff were amazing and could not have done more to assist.
The location was perfect to visit the main attractions in the city, which were within walking distance. It was also situated on the coast overlooking the Sea.
