  The staff in the Arcare building were very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning and maintenance were punctual and efficient. Front desk staff were very helpful. Restaurant was good and waiting staff friendly and attentive. Hotel bar was good for meeting and chatting with other guests with a very nice and friendly barman in charge.   Location is good. Ten minutes walk to the Zermatt Railway Station. Hotel provides free pick-up service. Located at a quiet corner of Zermatt. Seems that every room has a balcony. You can enjoy the view from your balcony while having lunch. Room was big (European Standard) and clean. Eventually, the hotel still honored the reservation which is something unlikely to happen in country. Very im - The hotel is a bit rough at the edges but the room I got was clean and quite comfortable. It is very well located close the the church square and basically in smack middle of everything. The staff is friendly and accommodating when it comes to very early breakfasts, etc.

The room was comfortable, quiet, warm and clean and the view left us speechless. Included breakfast offered a good variety of choices, including dried meats, a local specialty. Rooms are spaceous and nicely decorated. Sauna was very complete for a hotel sauna. Massage should be pre booked in winter but are very good and can be recommended.
