What a lovely hotel, which belied its 3 stars. We were lucky enough to have a room overlooking the castle view and although the room wasn't luxury, it was comfortable. There is a smart bar where you can watch people arriving for the concerts in the church next door and the location of the hotel is superb. We didn't eat there, but breakfast was okay.

This was one of the best hotels we've stayed at, although it was not inexpensive. Our room was superb : and we felt we were the first guests ever to use the room. The en suite bathroom was brilliant, although the shower didn't exactly pin you to the wall. In spite of being opposite the main station, the room was quiet and not over-heated. Staff were helpful, the breakfast spread was terrific, and on the whole, we were very happy with our stay.
