  The quality of the hotels in Halmstad is mediocre, but this was an exception and I'll probably return. Clean, compact rooms with good beds. The hotel offers everything one needs for a short stay. Excellent location within walking distance from the railway station and the main market square. - Fact there was a gym facility. Originally we had booked 1 night but on meeting the owners and seeing the room we immediately asked to stay another. - The owners were fabulous! Very charming place. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.   We were given a room facing the main road but were able to change to a room facing the garden with no problem. Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasant and good value hotel. Liked the glass elevator!
