  The property is beautiful, the staff were hospitable, friendly, helpful and downright adorable. Santander is in a part of Spain that does not speak English, and being the only one of 3 that speaks high-school spanish, ie, not much, the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure that we knew where we were going and what to do.   Beautiful, stylish, spacious room overlooking the garden (room 4) with a great shower in the bathroom. Eneda greets you in the mornings and can recommend places to eat etc, then her brother takes over in the afternoon.
