  There was a lot to like about this hostal. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The place was extremely clean. Our room was pretty small but for a budget option we didn't expect it to be large. One of the best things about Hostal Zamora is the location. You can walk to all the big tourist attractions-Puerta del Sol, the Prado and other art... mitä ihmiset sanovat » museums, and the Palacio Real. There are scads of restaurants all around. You'd think it would be noisy but it's not. It's on a quiet square so yo - I am so sorry that I haven't asked the name of that super professional and kind guy at the reception. He was extremely careful, helped us out with all our questions and made sure that we were comfortable and safe all the time. The three recommendations he gave us (breakfast place, lunch place and pizza place) were all great. The hotel itself was not exactly what we were waiting for, but the location is great and everything was so easy. Recommend it.

  1. LOCATION is excellent, very close to Metro station (Gran Via) & many city landmarks (Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, can be reached by walk). Hotel surrounding by many shops, big stores and restaurants (Jamon 55, Cafe & Te, Rong Hua chinese restaurant is just few choices). 2. The single room with shower is really nice and cosy, with air condition, sink, good mirrow, a kettle to boil water for tea etc. Also the bed was comfortable. It was my second time I stayed here and I was perfectly happy with everything.

  It's a perfect place to stay in Madrid. it was the best hostel i've ever stayed. Why? 1. Clean and beautiful. For me its the most important criteria - to have a clean bath and bed. Here everything looked new and smart. Cool design in corridors and inside the rooms. 2. Friendly and very helpful stuff. Attocha - on foot, to bus station to air - Hostel is at a perfect location, close to Plaza del Sol, tons of bars and clubs and Prado museum. Athough it is in a loud area, the hostel itself is pretty peaceful and sleeping problems caused by outside noise are non-existent. Hostel staff is probably the friendliest and more helpful than I've ever seen. They are always ready to answer any questions and request within their power. The design is simply wonderful and refreshing. The rooms are so clean that you could probably eat off the floor

The hotel is 2 blocks from the Plaza de Toros and the Ventas Metro station making all of Madrid easily accessible . - Although this hotel is out of Madrid's central area, it's has easy access to the Sol or Gran Via by bus and metro.
