* Good location, next to Gran Via metro station, a short walk from the bus to the airport * a small but working lift in the builing * staff is ok * beds look old but are comfortable * I stayed in a room next to the reception but I was not bother by the noise at all * a mini-bar in the room, reasonably priced * good internet connection for free * great price (flash deal 50% off).
kaikki arvostelut » The hostel is in the hart of Madrid, near to shops, bars, metro. The staff was friendly. The rooms although small are comfortable and clean. The beds were set every day, and clean towels were provided if necessary. I highly recommend this hostel since is the best vale for money!. -The location of the hotel is very good! Very near to the main street of Gran Via in Madrid. Just needs a little walk to cover most major attractions around madrid -the host did not speak english but they are very friendly when we try to communicate in spanish with them. Although it's only a hostel the service is similar to a hotel very recommendable for weekend trips Aunque solo es un hostal el servicio es similar a un hotel muy recomendable para estancias cortas. Prime location, comfortable room, clean and well maintained, helpful staff though they did not speak English. Overall, I got much more than what I expected given the low room rent charged. clean, good quality for price, position great everything reachable within 15min walk. people might say that it's noisy but in my view it's not. The location. * Quite small bathroom - difficult to walk into it * in April 2013, the facade of the building was being fixed - when I went out to have breakfast and came back, there was a builder working on my balcony. - We need to hang our keys before going out of the hostel and this causes problems to them if we always forgot something in our room which we needed to ring the bell multiple times to open the front door. - language barrier is probably one of the challenges coming to madrid. but as long as the stay goes perfectly well, i guess there's not much to complain. toilette really small but more than enough for the price paid. Thin walls. There was nothing it didn't like -- someday when I'm richer the room will be bigger haha. it is very noisy. No curtains-if you have problem with the light don't choose this hotel. as it is in the center, too much noise from outside of the hotel. The room has a smoking smell and the staff can not speak English. No English. A little lack of privacy in the room: thin walls and the backyard full with other people. impossible public parking. the space of bathroom is so tiny. The room was impregnated with cigarette smell even though I asked for a non smoking room. I hate cigarettes and it was a big issue for me and my husband. The staff said it was not possible to change rooms. Thin walls, the room was small and cold. The space in the bathroom was too small. The noise from the lift outside our room, and other persons staying at the Hostal. Myself and my friend's did not get much sleep the 3 nights we stayed there.It was difficult to explain this to the staff as they didn't speak very good english, so i won't be recommending this Hostal to anyone else. having no key to access hotel & having to wait for door to be opened which sometimes took a while!. Too noisy all night long. The extremely small bathroom.
