Back from a 3 night stay. Lovely Hoel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Our room was on 2nd floor but were told on checking in that they would move us to a higher floor the next day if we found the room noisy. We were overlooking the Gran Via but we didn't need to move. Room was large and cleaned with fresh towels daily. It had a little kitchenette off bedroom with everything you needed except a kettle but there was a saucepan to boil water. Also a fully stocked fridge with very reasonable prices.

The location on Gran Via was excellent i.e. close to shops, tourist attractions and Metro which was easy to & from airport. I enjoyed every day in this hotel & would use this hotel on another visit to Madrid. Highly recommended. Service upon arrival, during and departure were excellent. Staff very helpful with advice. Having a small kitchen was a definite bonus. Everything worked. Great water pressure, good beds, and view over Gran Via was lovely early morning and night. Two layers of windows blocked out most of the noise at night. Really good two-room apartment: bedroom and sitting-room, plus small kitchen and all of it for 65euros per day. Good location for both sightseeing and shooping. As distinct from most Spanish hotels this one has good noise proofing. great value for money large and confortable rooms very well located cleanliness. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast room. location. Not a hell of a lot. Location only. There are a number of steps up to the reception but that didn't bother us in the slightest. But best to be aware of that in case of mobility problems and heavy suitcases. There was absolutely nothing about this lovely hotel that we disliked and were pleasantly surprisesd at the quality consider how little we paid. When try to extend my booking for two days more price rised from 65 euros per day to 189euros. expensive and poor Wifi connection. No ground floor lobby. no ac and poor menu. The choice of rooms. The two rooms we occupied were not equivalent. The first room had a non operating fridge. Then we had to move to another room. The kitchenette is virtually a closet with a dirty fridge and kitchen belongings. The carpet is extremely cheap and not too carefully vacuumed. Staff not too helpful and arrogant. . Unfriendly staff, wifi is not free like most hotels. Dusty and poor cleaning of carpet and furnishings. Curtains are filthy with holes in them. Unable to open window to fully enjoy the view. Would only recommend for the location.
