  The hostal Radio is cheap, simple and is situated in a great locacion, 15 minutes walk from Plaza Espana and 10 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya, La Rambla.   Friendly staff (one man spoke Spanish, English and French), clean and large rooms, a good bed and a proper bathroom. Very good airconditioning (although you can't regulate it yourself, but it switches off at night so you don't get sick while sleeping). The building pit next to the hostel did not have any negative influence on us, but do make sure you have earplugs. Also - Very friendly and informative staffs. Superb location. La Bouqeria Market, La Rambla Street, Metro station and bus stop is at the doorstep. The room was large with a balcony and shower. The common toilet was always clean. Breakfast was OK. It was the best hostel I stayed in my Eurotrip. If you are in a budget trip. This is where you must stay in Barcelona.

  I was staying for 3 noghts, and asked to not be woken up in the morning by the cleaner. I had my privacy, and got new towels every day while I was out.   We have stayed in this hostel for two nights in late September. Absolute a value for money place to stay. Don't expect anything luxuary, it's plain and simple, exactly what you pay for. Rooms are clean and cleaned each day. Friendly staff, gave us some tips for restaurants to eat in the direct surroundings of the hotel and di - The hotel it is in walking distance off all the turistic attractions of Barcelona. I consider this aspect as the best feature of this hotel. The room was very clean, we had private bathroom and a balcony. On all the streets surrounding the hotel there are restaurants, bars and shops. The metro stop is at only 2 min walking distance. After chek-out they permitted us to use their luggage storage room for the entire day. Wi-Fi connection in the room was great.
