  It was my second time and I loved it. 1.location,location. Location! Literally 2 minutes on foot from Puerta del Sol ( the very center of town) with a night shop next door and plenty of shops, restaurant and eateries 2. Surprising given its location. 5. For the seniors there is also a LIFT.All in all it is a great value for money. I w - The location next to the Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor is excellent, walking distance to the Prado and the main sights. We were received very cordially by the charming and very friendly Luz, in her clean and comfortable hostal. Lots of eating options nearby. We didn't have a good experience at the nearby Museo del Jamon, but that was just our bad choice for breakfast.

Super clean and tidy. very nice decore and furniture.Once you enter this Apartment , you just feel like it's your home. Highly recommended.   We stayed one night at the Plaza Mayor and wished our stay in Madrid was longer. The hotel is an old traditional building with charming features. Our room was a good size with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable. and everything was spotlessly clean. It was so close to the wonderful Plaza too and near many good restaurants. Thank you! - The location is perfect (close to main squares and public transportation). Staff is very friendly. Rooms are always clean. Easy transportation possibilities from the airport (one bus and 4 metro stops).
