  Perfect location close to Puerta del Sol and very comfortable, this apartment was a great choice for our trip to Madrid. The apartment is spotless and very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay. The location couldn't be better with Sol just a minute's walk away. Thank you Spain Select, we'll be back again!

  The hotel is located in the center of the city only a short two blocks from the Sol Metro station. We could walk to the major areas of interest and the Atocha train station (cab with luggage). There are dozens of tapas bars near the hotel. Finding "sit down" dinner restaurants was tougher but when we did the food was excellent.   I didn't stay at the hotel that much as I spend most of my time outside. But what I can definitely say that the location is perfect and very very easy to reach (Sol Metro station), the room is very clean, big enough for 2 persons with an AC, which makes it comfortable. The room had been newly renovated and was kept extremely clean. There were two sets of double paned windows to keep out the street noise. The Museo del Jamon was right next to the hotel and is a great place to get breakfast, lunch, snacks, coffee or beer/wine. We would definitely return.

  I like the fact that the Hostal was not only brand new but mainly because the rooms were always very clean. It is called a Hostal, althought it's better then many hotels out there.
