  Wonderful view. Great location. Breakfast at the high class restaurant below the location is limited but usual for Spain. Nice staff and owner. Very different to commercial establishments in as much as it is a converted apartment and was very interesting for us, a mature couple. We were placed in a huge room at no extra cost. Very clean.   The hotel was excellent, clean and a very good price. Staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Hotel is in the centre of Madrid so when you go behind the corner, you are immediately in the shopping streets. We highly recommend this hotel and will visit again when we'd go back to Madrid! Breakfast was not quite a full English but good by European standards. Location was super for direct transfers from the airport on the C1 train (2.50€) then less than 5 minutes walk. Location also excellent for Old City and you can catch a train direct to Atocha station (1.60€),

  The hostel is located in the city centre, 2 minutes from the metro Opera, the Palacio Real, 5 minutes walk to the Gran via, and 15 to the Prado Museum.
