  Pensio 2000 was a real find. Help yourself tea/coffee/cakes and water, all gratis. Even had lovely white dressing gowns provided. An international crossroad location with great mix of people too! No parking or lift but worth the effort. Great value for money but shame it rained! - Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

  I was really impressed. It was a real Boutique Hotel, intimate and with really comfortable rooms. Nicely decorated, perfect location and great value for money. Oh, and the staff could not have been more helpful. - It is a very cute Hotel with only 7 rooms. I liked the design very much.

  I'm not sure why they call this a hostel? I felt like it was more an inn. The attention to details were very nice. Greeted with a glass of Sangria upon arrival. Chocolate on your night stand. The owner is an antiques collector. Hence the name. Be in mind, it is filled with them!! It can be a bit overwhelming at first. You get used it. Easy access to ev - Was looking for a last minute booking for weekend trip to Barcelona & chose L' Antic Espai due to reviews. Happily I can only agree & add to the positive vibe - it was a perfect little room (little is true but it was ample), brilliant location, amazing breakfast and fantastic staff, Danny in particular living up to his online reputation. Our trip would not have been as blessed without his knowledge & help. Highly recommended

Room was luxurious and clean- a real haven to relax in after a busy day sightseeing. Room service was impressively quick. Restaurant fitted with quality of hotel and delicious food. PCs for guests, free internet, nice library where you could connect your own PC, mini-bar (soft drinks) included in the price of the room.   Location was fantastic, read alot of poor reviews before visiting Sant Carlo but it was perfectly fine. My partner and I had a double room with our own bathroom. Wasn't huge but had shower, sink and loo. Flat screen TV on wall, stand up fan provided. The Hostel is on the 3rd floor of an apartment block, easy to find, buzzer at main door.   It is a gorgeous unique hotel right in the center of Barcelona. Best choice for best price. Very friendly and helpfull staff and owner. - It's a beautiful place and, if you like antiques, is the perfect place to stay in Barcelona! The terrace is very nice, with flowers, plants and birds!
