The room was spacious and well appointed with a balcony into the street with double pane soundproof windows. But as a traveler who likes to walk everywhere, having an American size shower was a dream come true!   We stayed in the suite which was simply gorgeous. The balcony, shaped tub, remote controlled curtains, reflective glass, see-through glass, mirrors, and lighting, all contributed to an intimate setting. The wardrobe had plenty of space and the music from the tv system was free. The hotel's library, livingroom, artwork, outdoor space with sunhats - We enjoyed the juxtaposition of the historic building and painted ceilings against the modern decor. The staff was very helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations and directions to the sites. The breakfasts were delicious and diverse (instead of the bread and coffee most B&Bs serve). It was extremely clean and very intimate given there are only 7 rooms. We ate breakfast on the private patio every morning where we enjoyed architecture hidden from passersby on the street.   Location was excellent in a quiet residential area of the City yet only a few minutes from the Ramblas, Placa Catalunya, la Sagrada, La Pedrera and the upmarket shops along Ave Diagonal. Good value for money B&B with excellent staff to assist with booking. The daily breakfast was good value. Could sit outside on a bench right in front of the facility. The apartments are modern. The breakfast was very good with lots of options of breads, cereals, fruits, cheeses, had orange juice and coffee.
