The room was spacious and well appointed with a balcony into the street with double pane soundproof windows. But as a traveler who likes to walk everywhere, having an American size shower was a dream come true!   We stayed in the suite which was simply gorgeous. The balcony, shaped tub, remote controlled curtains, reflective glass, see-through glass, mirrors, and lighting, all contributed to an intimate setting. The hotel's library, livingroom, artwork, outdoor space with sunhats - We enjoyed the juxtaposition of the historic building and painted ceilings against the modern decor. The staff was very helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations and directions to the sites. The breakfasts were delicious and diverse (instead of the bread and coffee most B&Bs serve). It was extremely clean and very intimate given there are only 7 rooms. We ate breakfast on the private patio every morning where we enjoyed architecture hidden from passersby on the street.   Location was excellent in a quiet residential area of the City yet only a few minutes from the Ramblas, Placa Catalunya, la Sagrada, La Pedrera and the upmarket shops along Ave Diagonal. Could sit outside on a bench right in front of the facility. The apartments are modern. The breakfast was very good with lots of options of breads, cereals, fruits, cheeses, had orange juice and coffee.

  Everything was great. Cristian, was very nice to us and very helpful. The B&B is in well located, has evething you need to fell at home. is like to be at our home but in Barcelona. if you prefer to stay in a cool place instead of a very impersonal, cold and snob hotel, you came to the right place. - Casa Dover was a very pleasant stay for us.... mitä ihmiset sanovat » The room was cozy and the terrace was a nice touch. It was very easy to get in and out of the building and the B&B, and it was in a good location that was a short walk from many highlighted attractions in Barcelona. The breakfast was also very good.

We were 2 women travelling alone, and had no problem walking in this area late at night. The rooms are modern, clean, and lovely. The rooms are big for Barcelona standards and comfortable to stay in. The bathroom has a nice shower. And best of all, the nice breakfast is included in the price.
