  This didn't feel like any other hotel, it was like you were staying in someone's home - from the decor to the breakfast to the way we were treated. The double room we got was very comfortable and it looked like a little cottage in the city. The woman at the desk was very helpful and personable, she was always willing to help us with anything we ne... mitä ihmiset sanovat » eded. The location is very central - we were in the old town and we could walk to the Guggenheim and La Ribera Market. The day we stayed in Bilbao, th - We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful (and spoke excellent English). The room was so homey-it was nice to go out in the rain and go "home" to a warm and comfortable room. The heaters worked quickly and the room was large and clean. The breakfast in the morning was good-tea/coffee and an assortment of bread products (and fruit and yogurt, if desired).   Spot-on location for exploring the narrow streets, bars, restaurants and shops of the pedestrianized old-town. Quirky-yes, comfortable-yes, interesting-definitely (ask to see the different rooms), recommended-yes just be aware that there is no lift and the whole hotel is on the third floor which is no problem if you are in reasonable health.
