  Have been staying at the hotel over the years - in my opinion it is unique - in its setting and the service.   We stayed here for two nights before going on a self drive safari to Kruger National Park. The owners were very friendly and we had a good and relaxing time at the lodge. If we had any questions, the owners were more than happy to advise. The room was very clean and modern. It's very clean, and housekeeping was in our room twice a day, including in the evening to put a chocolate on our pillow before bedtime. Breakfast was also great.   The staff was very friendly and really did their best to make us feel welcome. This lodge is really good value for money and if you take the option with breakfast and dinner it is lovely not having to cook. Craig is a fully licensed Kruger NP-guide, Alison stands for the high quality rooms and food of Tingala and together they run this unique place with great hospitality. During my sta - We often use Phalaborwa as a stop-over en-route to the Kruger Park. This last stay at Tingala was by far the best and next time will probably just stay at Tingala and do day trips into the park. This is a special lodge with special people running it. Craig and Alison were the perfect hosts and the lodge itself was absolutely perfect in all respects - but primarily, the solace of the African Bush, the sounds, the smells, the animals (all over a glass of red and a night time braai from the stoop)
