We stayed here for 2 nights. Yvonne and Gerard are great hosts, and a bit quirky. Gerard can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about South African car licence plates. We often use Phalaborwa as a stop-over en-route to the Kruger Park. This last stay at Tingala was by far the best and next time will probably just stay at Tingala and do day trips into the park. This is a special lodge with special people running it. Craig and Alison were the perfect hosts and the lodge itself was absolutely perfect in all respects - but primarily, the solace of the African Bush, the sounds, the smells, the animals (all over a glass of red and a night time braai from the stoop)
