The location of the hotel was in walking distance of many attractions.
Room was fresh and clean, bed comfortable, airconditioner quiet, shower hot and direct, lovely view and no street noise.
Pool has the wow factor.
Breakfast spoilt for choice, relaxed and plentiful.
On our return we have talked to our family and friends about the young luggage assistant who went well beyond good service to assist us with our transfer to the boat. He made the stay for great to memorable.

Location was superb. Just across Chinatown train station (exit E). Staff Jessica was rather welcoming upon arrival. Allowed me for an hour earlier for check-in and gave me a free upgrade as requested and wished me a happy advanced birthday. When i entered the room, i was delighted. Right next to Chinatown with a Metro Station just opposite the hotel. Perfect place to stay if you want to get out and explore Singapore and take in the variety of sights and sounds. Some reviews will critise the hotel for not having any food options...i.e. breakfast included. But if you want to experience Singapore properly then get out of the hotel and enjoy the massive variety of food available on every street!

The hotel rooms are simple but very well-designed -
Although the room was small, it was compact and it had everything basic we needed. The bed was great to sleep on....soo comfortably soft with nice comforters. The bathroom size was sufficient and the tiles were nice. Water was sufficient in both toilet and bath...nothing eeky in them. Hotel staff are nice to talk to. We felt secured in this place; it was quiet. It is near the shops and the MRT station.

Although it's just a capsule room, it's surprisingly comfortable. The toilet is always clean and dry, no smell. The shower flows well. Locker, hairdryer for free. AC is cold! Blanket available for free. WiFi in your room for free. 24-hour breakfast you can just open the fridge and eat cereals, bread, biscuits and drink tea, coffee, milk. They also have microwave and if you still need to go around after checking in you can leave your bags for free. Computer with internet for free!

My husband and I was very impressed with the lady in housekeeping her name is "MUNI" she was very helpful, courteous and if we had a problem concerning our room she went out of her way to get the problem resolved.Thank you Muni for making our stay at Santa Grand Hotel very pleasant. I really liked the location and the decoration in the hall and in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and available. The bed was really comfortable and the room as well as the rest of the hotel's shared spaces were very clean. They didnt have an elevator but there were electric escalators, which seemed like a nice idea! Bottled water included in room. Even thought they did not offer breakfast there were some great local breakfast places close by.

I like about the friendliness of the staff. They are all very polite and helpful. I have a very nice double room with a small area of dinning. Close to china town and easy to grab a taxi at anytime of the day. Clubs around the corner during the weekend and very quiet. I would definitely come back on my next trip

Our flight was late at night and we could store our luggage and they even offered us to take a shower before we left for the airport! This is a great service that I have not yet experienced.
