  Very good location, easy to go anywhere. Staffs were the best. They had very good attitude and were keen to help any time. The free mini bar was excellent. Room was bit small but that's how it is in Singapore. Very comfortable bed. We got a corner room, so we had 2 different views which one of them was a great forest view.   Friendly, attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Lovely heritage building - so much nicer than staying in some impersonal international high-rise. Location in China town with plenty of great eating places (try the amazing Moojaa down the road). Close to a station with easy access to all parts of the city. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to return. - We liked everything,,we are quite tall and e wn though the rooms are small the bed was very comfortable and roomy. We loved the small courtyard off our room, all the amenities were there our room was serviced everyday and everything was spotless, staff were very welcoming, and it was so closeto the MRT and within easy walking distance to Chinatown, bars and Restaurants in the area. We would stay there again and recommend to our friends.

Formerly a historic Chinese Opera house/opium den/brothel, it has been converted to retain as much of the original ambiance as possible. Located right in Chinatow - I really liked the location and the decoration in the hall and in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and available. They didnt have an elevator but there were electric escalators, which seemed like a nice idea! Bottled water included in room. Even thought they did not offer breakfast there were some great local breakfast places close by.

  My husband and I was very impressed with the lady in housekeeping her name is "MUNI" she was very helpful, courteous and if we had a problem concerning our room she went out of her way to get the problem resolved.Thank you Muni for making our stay at Santa Grand Hotel very pleasant.
