Room was bit small but that's how it is in Singapore. Very comfortable bed. We got a corner room, so we had 2 different views which one of them was a great forest view.   The interior design looks classic and comfortable. The room is clean and have a vintage feel. Stuffs are polite too and location is good for visitors who can chill at the pubs around. - Really liked this place. Good location and the room had a lot of character.   Friendly, attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Lovely heritage building - so much nicer than staying in some impersonal international high-rise. Location in China town with plenty of great eating places (try the amazing Moojaa down the road). Close to a station with easy access to all parts of the city. We would stay there again and recommend to our friends.

  Stayed as a single person in a double room with a balcony overlooking the street. I really liked the balcony and did not find the street particularly noisy. I liked the early bells from the Indian temple. Close to Chinatown but far enough away from Pagoda Street to not be crowded. The wonderful Tong Ah restaurant is just up the road.
