The hotel is great! It is situated on a small hill, which is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Yet, it is nearby to the MRT station and some very nice food stalls. - The staff are all very friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are a little small but very well equipped and clean. I really liked the location and the decoration in the hall and in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and available. The bed was really comfortable and the room as well as the rest of the hotel's shared spaces were very clean. They didnt have an elevator but there were electric escalators, which seemed like a nice idea! Bottled water included in room. Even thought they did not offer breakfast there were some great local breakfast places close by.

My husband and I was very impressed with the lady in housekeeping her name is "MUNI" she was very helpful, courteous and if we had a problem concerning our room she went out of her way to get the problem resolved.Thank you Muni for making our stay at Santa Grand Hotel very pleasant. We will come back on our next visit to Singapore. :) -

Allowed me for an hour earlier for check-in and gave me a free upgrade as requested and wished me a happy advanced birthday. When i entered the room, i was delighted. Right next to Chinatown with a Metro Station just opposite the hotel. Perfect place to stay if you want to get out and explore Singapore and take in the variety of sights and sounds. Some reviews will critise the hotel for not having any food options...i.e. breakfast included. But if you want to experience Singapore properly then get out of the hotel and enjoy the massive variety of food available on every street!

Although it's just a capsule room, it's surprisingly comfortable. The toilet is always clean and dry, no smell. The shower flows well. Locker, hairdryer for free. AC is cold! Blanket available for free. WiFi in your room for free. 24-hour breakfast you can just open the fridge and eat cereals, bread, biscuits and drink tea, coffee, milk. They also have microwave and if you still need to go around after checking in you can leave your bags for free. Computer with internet for free!

Excellent location with excellent service, other hotels in Singapore could learn from these guys. Breakfast was complete and rooftop pool gave us relaxing moments after sightseeing. Highly recommend this hotel.
