A hotel within a country club
The well maintained Residence is located on the third floor of a country club in town, and comprises of 26 rooms and 2 suites, facing either the Padang (cricket lawn) or the city. The swimming pool which is located at the corner of the basement, which feels like a pond within a cave.
Cleanliness did not disappoint.

The hotel is in a great location in the colonial district kitty corner
to Raffles Hotel, walking distance to Singapore Flyer, subway, Hop On
Hop Off Bus, countless shopping centres and restaurants, the river and
boat quay, Marina Bay Sands Hotel and much more. There was a fair bit of
traffic noise as our room overlooked the front road...mainly seemed like
background type noise and didn't disturb our sleep. Somewhat odd
room. The hotel rooms are on the third floor, upper level of the club.

Location is excellent, 10-15 minute walk to Marina Bay etc. Lovely walk down too. Staff were great. Yes the rooms are small but it wasn't a problem for us - we spent more time enjoying the city and the hotel was mostly used as a place to get our heads down. Park Royal on Beach road is an exceptional property and the rate that Igot through LetsBookHotel.com was really excellent. I love that hotel is till new and every thing is still fresh and clean.

Iarrived into SG very early in the morning, and check in time wasn't until 2pm, but I still rock up at the hotel at 6.30am. The staff was very friendly and helpful to have me organized.
