  The staff was very polite and understanding. The room was very clean with a maid coming in every day. The location is right next to Nevsky Prospect (1 minute walk). Tip: entrance is from Karavannaya street, after passing the entrance to the backyard you will see a glass sign with golden letters saying "Polikoff Hotel", come in and ring apt. 28 (if... mitä ihmiset sanovat » I'm not mistaken). Breakfast was OK. The room was quite (you don't hear the street from the room). - Excellent position in the middle of the city. Windows are faced to backyard, no noise at all though Nevsky prospect is about 10m away.everyday room cleaning. Polite and obliging personal. Very good solution for business trips when only sleeping in the hotel...

  A very comfortable hotel and competitively priced. Efficient check-in and helpful staff. Wifi is free and has a very good signal. - Location is quite good, though it's a bit far from the very historical centre. Sauna might be very helpful after day-long trip.

  First of all, we really appreciate the hospitality of really friendly staffs!! They speak English and if tried to speak in Russian, they also tried to hear me and teach me some. The staff also explained about city so clearly that we can figure out where to go. The facility is very good, clean and convenient.   I arrived by train and by taking Bus number 22 I have arrived at the Hotel an hour after. I had a very warm welcome from Alexander who explained to me all about the Hotel and the area.The room was very nice bed very comfortable and a nice warm bathroom. I totally recommend this Hotel. - I found there everything I needed - a working shower in a huge warm- floore (surprise!) bathroom, warm well furnitured room with a bottle of water for free (surprise!) and it was a real pleasure to have a cup of tea in bed, not in dining room (I asked the receptionist and he allowed me to take it from the ground floor) in the evening. The breakfast is wery reach.

Very clean. Cosy bar. Metro is 3 min walk and gets you to the railway station in 1 stop.   Traditional hotel from old times but well modernized and maintained. Fairly comparable with western business hotels. Good location next to underground station. We were given a junior suite by price of standard twin due to booking situation and arrival at 19:30 so can't review normal room but suite was excellent.
