  The view from our hotel room was amazing! Great view of the little lake with fountain and the area all around it. Great photo opportunities. Leisurely walking by the sea and terrific shopping within a minute walk from the hotel. Location is superb!   The stuff of the hotel was nice and helpful, the breakfast was okay (sausages, eggs, fish, fruits, vegetables, cheese, yogurts...). The room was brilliant, with a very comfortable bed and a free Wi-Fi (which you have to activate by code you can get on the reception). There is a bus (2) which is about three blocks away that goes to Stavanger centrum in about 20 min. The Kvadrat shopping center is a 5 min. - At one third of the going rate for hotels in this town it is not surprising that it is booked up well in advance.   The staff is amazing, so helpful. I had asked about a nice restaurant because it was our 10 year wedding anniversary, she went through a few options until we decided on a location.
