  City Living have a perfect location in the middle of Tromsø, close to restaurants, bars and shopping. The airport bus stops few meters from the hotel. Good size apartments with stylish interior and good furnitures. Greate beds, pillows and blankets. Very clean apartments. Nice little kitchen with all you need for a light meal. Excellent service in reception, they where very kind and helpful. - Everybody @ the front-desk was very helpful with suggestions, ideas and advises. In the heart of Tromso and very close to restaurants and shopping. In walking distance to main attractions and museum. Very helpful was the kitchenette where I could prepare meals, since everything is pretty expensive for continental European standards. Safe place to stay, as the whole city. In the future I'll stay there again!

  I liked the location which was very convenient and the rooms were quite comfortable. The breakfasts were quite substantial to set you up for the day. The small downside for me was the late night bar which i passed by the previous year has now shut down. At first we were allocated an unrenovated room but after a quick conversation at the hotel reception we were given a fully renovated suite. This made our stay very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, the breakfasts great and the bed very comfortable.

  Everything! The lady who checked us in after being in transit for 38 hours was nothing but helpful and greeted us warmly. We were even informed that we were upgraded to a business class room which was greatly appreciated. Yes it can be busy at times but that is to be expected. The staff work efficiently to clear tables and assist - very nice staff and very good location. it locates the center of tromso and just 2 min walk from the central bus station. The facilities in hotel is good. I'm impressed with the sauna with amazing night view on the 10th floor...more importantly it's free!! Strongly recommend it! and the room rate is quite reasonable=D

  For a basic hotel this place is really rather good; the breakfast room was spotless with quite a selection of cold food (but no fruit). I particularly liked the heated floor in the bathroom and my single room was clean, large enough with a comfy chair to sit in and a large table on which to organise my bits & pieces. It is close to the town centre and about 50 metres from a bus stop from which a no 42 bus - First of all: this is Norway, which means higher standards and the need for (much) deeper pockets. Having this is mind, the hotel was just fine; you get what you pay for. The breakfast is included in the price, which is something really valuable in this part of the world; the food was ok. The staff was excellent. I asked for a room with a view, I got it. Asked for a taxi, they made the reservation for the morning. Everything was just in place, without great fuss.   Excellent staff who welcomed us very friendly and were ready to prepare a late dinner for the 4 of us. Food is great, with a special attention for local produce. Excellent value for money, just on the road to/from Nordkapp - Nice hotel with friendly staff! When in the neighbourhood, i will choose this hotel again.

However, walk to the coast is the best location. If you do not travel by Taxi or Car, there is Bus no. 34 at Sydspissen to Tromsø town. Cafeteria- Good! Free hot water, tea, cafe provided 24 hrs. Breakfast is also quite good. We can share useful information/ experiences of watching northern lights with other travelers
