  Now this, for Norway was value for money. Staff were very friendly, nice atmosphere in the cafe/restaurant, best pizza I've ever had. Couldn't believe the room and the view from the full wall of window, 20 foot high.   The staff was very friendly - free laundry! There are three flyss buss stops very close - only 40€ to get to downtown Bergen (fish market, the mountain tram, train station) The breakfast was delicious, the room very comfortable - I found the price one of the best in Bergen ... It was a great base for the fjord trips and enjoying the city. - The bedroom was clean and a relaxing environment with modern, interesting styling and decoration.   For Norway, a reasonable price. We did not mind cleaning for ourselves at the end of our stay. Clean, modern, comfortable for a family. We enjoyed being able to cook our own meals. Most likely you need a car. It was summer, so we used this as a homebase. Some daytrips we enjoyed: Gudvangan and ferry to/from Flam. We also drove to Jo - Very good equipment in the room, friendly stuff, reception works 24/7. Great location - in a hour you can reach 1) Gudvangen to the East (great Naroyfjord nearby, and also stunning view from the serpantine road above the tonnel to Gudvangen), 2) great Hardangerfjord to the South 3) Sognefjord to the North (and near the road to Sognefjord you can walk over snow fields even in August!). Only 2 hours to Bergen. Free wifi works in our room (the big building next to the main building). Our navigator
