  Initially shocked at the small size of the room, and then learned to appreciate the economy of space. Location of hotel is good, close to the main train station, but not adjacent, and within easy walking distance to shopping and city sites. Breakfast is quite good with many choices, however, the best part is the evening meal.   Location was totally fantastic for anyone having to catch an early morning train/bus like me - it's right beside the rail and bus station. Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, efficient. The room was one of the best designed I have ever seen in a hotel, and had everything one could possibly need. Norway is - Central location close to the station for early departure via airport express train. Within walking distance of pedestrian street and restaurants. Public transport to port area right outside, as well as using the metro. Staff helpful in printing boarding passes. Included breakfast at the Egon restaurant across from the hotel was an adventure in navigation. Once there food presented had variety for all.

The tram was only 3 stops away f - Large room (a double) with modern Scandinavian furniture. New and stylish bath room. Great view at the food market across the street (note that you might end up looking at the apartment block on the opposite side of the building). Nice breakfast buffet in the restaurant downstairs (included in room price) where I also had a very favorably priced (for Oslo standards) meal at night. Probably the best place I've stayed in Oslo. Price-quality ratio is excellent!
