Everything went to plan, arrived late, key where they said with our name
on it, nice little suit, nice fresh sheets, able to make our breakfast
there, and a little dairy down below with essentials, really nice staff,
left our bags there for the day, no problems, really happy with our
stay, thanks -
The first staff member we delt with was very nic

to leave our bags even though our check in time was not until a few
hours away. The room was very clean and set out really well. It was nice
having windows that actually opened right up because it got very warm.

Great location easy walk to Lambton Quay and other quality shops, bars, restaurants, Courtney Pl. An easy 15min walk to stadium we were in Wellington to watch Warriors vs Bulldogs game. The lady at front desk was friendly and helpful. We had trouble getting
the tv to work, she explained and also offered to come to room and get
it working. Also my daughter accidently dropped her ipod by lift which
was found by permanent apt man, who phd us to arrange getting back to us
- very honest and appreciated!

While the room was quite basic, the bed was extremely comfortable and the linen very clean. Also, despite the very central location, my room was very quiet. The staff are the biggest asset to this hotel, they were so professional and friendly and no matter what time I left my room or what time I returned, it was always serviced upon my return.

The location was ideal for our purposes. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were excellent. We had previously stayed at another Grand Mecure and was encouraged to book because of this. Also our daughter is getting married at the Grand Mecure Monaco (Nelson) in Sept and we wanted to support Accor because of the service we are receiving from Clare and staff at Nelson.

Close walking distance to Lambton Quay and Cuba St. We had a carpark that we could use. A sheltered smoking area. A dairy almost directly across the road with another one a little further. Plus there was supermarket further down the road, all of which were convenient for those pesky little grocery top ups. The staff were helpful and friendly. Good price, good location, good service.

We arrived early for check in & asked if we could store our luggage. We were allowed to check in early because the room was ready. It was much appreciated. The staff were very friendly & helpful & asked about our plans during our stay. They provided maps & helpful advice. The hotel is very close to the tourist attractions & CBD

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception were friendly on arrival and there was nothing which was too much trouble. After travelling it was great that we could immediately get into our room. The food was good and so helpful to have a weekend breakfast special. We liked the rooms, the location to what we wanted, the nice smile from the counter staff , the cleaning of the room.. even though we did not put the ' clean room' sign out, The care of the manager /owner when the quake struck with a cold beer.The blankets given when the fire alarm went ...after standing outside for ages.
