Staff were very friendly and helpful, finding out information for us. Location was great, very handy for Te Papa museum and easy walking distance to the harbour front and also to restaurants, shops etc nearby. Room seemed newly decorated and was clean, comfortable and spacious. Would definitely stay there if in Wellington again!

The staff were exceptional, particularly the reception staff and the concierge. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of artwork on display, including the motorbikes - some pieces were outstanding. Being in the heart of the city was a huge plus for exploring on foot. The balcony was a great surprise that I wasn't expecting. My bed was very comfortable.

The staff were excellent, we loved the CBD location with flat walk to just about anywhere in the CBD. Close to the sea front, train station and many tourist attractions. Really good restaurant with excellent menu. Great room, very comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom, full mini-bar and stunning views across the CBD from our room. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Good location, everything functioned well, clean, helpful no-frills front desk. We did not use restaurant facilities.
Anyone considering booking should note that taxis drop off and pick up in Gilmer Tce, which is level with 7th floor reception, walk along well lit underground carpark. Take lift to ground level, then walk down Plimmer Steps to get to Lambton Quay. Lift does not go right down to street level.

We chose the apartment because we wanted to be able to self cater. Also it was very close to where we would be working. The location is great - all that the CBD has to offer with easy access to the waterfront. We were impressed (and relieved) that the receptionist had made arrangements for us to collect the key as we arrived late due to a delayed flight.

The location was ideal for our purposes. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were excellent. We had previously stayed at another Grand Mecure and was encouraged to book because of this. Also our daughter is getting married at the Grand Mecure Monaco (Nelson) in Sept and we wanted to support Accor because of the service we are receiving from Clare and staff at Nelson.
