  A historic hotel so a great place to stay and good value.... great room and style if like us that's what you go for. But.... within the sulphur smell zone - as are most places in Rotorua. Good value for money - restaurant dinner was quality!   I was showing an older person a good hotel/good food experience for the first time in her life.(she's 80yrs old) She loved every minute including your delightful hotel pool. (we were too tired to get into the hot pools) The food in the restaurant was perfectly cooked. The breakfast was lovely with ample choice. All in all a marvellous experience... mitä ihmiset sanovat » with such helpful staff. Very good value for money as well. - The bed was very comfortable and the views were amazing! The Club Lounge breakfast was fantastic. The drinks and nibbles in the lounge in the evening were brilliant and a great way to unwind. The host of the Club Lounge is very friendly, offers some fantastic advice for travel in the region and looks after his guests very well. I was very impressed with him.
