Wow - completely impressed with this motel! Do not look elsewhere - book here. Fabulous rooms (we were lucky to get an upgrade), a very clean, modern, quiet place. The reception team was very welcoming and friendly. A small park across the street which was great for our younger children (ages 8 and 5). Walked to dinner and had a great selection of places to choice from. My kids did not want to leave!

This was a first stop on our our long journey across NZ. We have spent here 3 days and it was just perfectly fitting our needs to gather strength after 2-days flight.

The service of the moteliers-they welcomed us warmly even though we arrived quite late. The heaters were on, and because it was a cold night it was wonderful to go into a warm room. We were treated very well, including being invited into their accommodation to watch the America's Cup race on their larger screen. -

The friendly welcoming hosts Liz and Neil. They were very helpful with advice on activities and restaurants. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable with access to a large balcony and spa, with excellent mountain views. A fine breakfast selection was provided and other little extras, including after dinner pick up from local restaurants.

Owners were fantastic, loanded us bikes, provided food and drinks. All in all, an excellent stay. They do need to put anti-slidding material in showers as one of our people fell in the shower and was hurt quite badly.

I made a last minute booking and turned up about 15 minutes before check-in finished but they were really happy to help and do as much as they could to make me feel welcome.
