Location was great, we have stayed in Queenstown central previously and noise (traffic, patrons and public) can be an issue. The property at Hilton was well soundproofed.

The staff were all very friendly. The room was spacious, clean,
beautifully appointed. The bathroom was also big and had a large bath
tub. The property is right on the lake so it has gorgeous views and is
very peaceful. The pool and spa were lovely and just what was needed
after walking the Milford Sound track. Is a good 15 minute drive from
Queenstown so it is a good idea to hire a car. The taxi prices were
exorbitant (ie $50 one way), the water taxi was much cheaper but only
ran at certain ti

All staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. Staff were aware of who we were and which room we were in, providing a level of commitment to the guests.The hotel is perched on a breathtaking view of the river that no photo can do justice. After spending the day adventuring the Otago wineries, coming back to a reserved cinema room made the whole stay as if we were the only people around. And we weren't. Thank you again to the management and staff for making our stay a memory!

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly. We actually had booked more rooms than we needed. When we approached the manager on duty, he went out of the way to call booking .com to make sure its ok with them and actually cancelled 2 rooms for 2 nights.
the staff also patiently helped us with bookings for attractions.
Would definitely recommend this place with these nice folks there to take care of you.

My partner and I wanted a quiet weekend away and that is exactly what we got, it was lovely and relaxing, lovely food and even got free drinks vouchers with our evening meal, The room was clean and spacious and a lovely big bed. will definitely be going back again. -

The house is an elegant Victorian. Bedrooms are spacious and lovely, and good bathrooms and shower. Hosts are super-friendly and helpful--Sandy even washed our clothes for us, and there was a luxurious hot tub. Food was fabulous! One of our best hotel stays! -
