We found the owners to be very helpful and friendly. They explained what there was to do in the town and where all the eating places were. The unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable and even though we were very close to the town shops it was very quiet allowing us to have a good nights sleep. There was plenty of good off-road parking for our car. It was a pleasure to stay here and we would certainly come back again.
kaikki arvostelut » An attractive looking Motel opposite a very nice park in the best part of Blenheim. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. Their breakfast, delivered personally to the room, was very good and value for money. The room and facilities were as described and in good condition. Unbeatable quality and value for money in this type of accommodation and in this town. I liked the separate room with King size bed. Loved the spabath/shower. Handy to central Blenheim, could walk everywhere. Outside area for smokers. Easy to find. Lovely outlook with park across the road. Clean with nice decor. Two flat screen TV great. Loved the place and enjoyed our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Stayed for six nights. Room was cleaned every day, bed was super comfortable and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Right in the center of town and the rooms were very quiet. We would gladly return. Good set-up of apartment. happy and professional staff, nothing too much trouble, good with tips on local wineries, fishing and local restaurants. We returned there at the end of our holiday because our earlier time was so good. Highly recommended. This was our fourth time staying at Lugano Motor Lodge. It has consistently maintained high standards of comfort and cleanliness and the staff are always friendly. We particularly like its proximity to the main shopping centre and restaurants. Relaxed atmosphere of Blenheim and the Lugano Motor Lodge is right across the street from the Seymour gardens and in easy walking distance to shops and cafes. The owners were happy to give local knowledge. We did several long walks from here. In retirement we have travelled extensively in New Zealand and other countries, staying at B&Bs, motels and hotels. The Lugano was exceptional is all the above categories, and highly recommend them to other travellers. Arrived early but made to feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Good shower and comfortable bed. Very convenient laundry. Close to shops and restaurants. Would stay there again. Excellent accommodation, close to some great wineries,including Hans Herzog. Check bottle prices at supermarket first. Great trout fishing opportunities around in some glorious countryside. Very helpful owners who were happy to explain what to see and how to get there. Proximity of Motor Lodge to the wine areas which was the main purpose of my stay. Location excellent . 5 min to Blenheim airport and town centre , shops , restaurants . Friendly staff allowed on-site parking after check-out. The location was excellent and easy to find. Accommodation was wonderful and the staff were great. An enjoyable stay. Thank you Lugano. The view from the side window in the bedroom was the workshop of a garage, but it didn't spoil our stay. The weather let us down a few times. Nothing. Very limited self-catering facilities . Microwave , kettle etc inside a cupboard - very cramped to use. Was nothing negative about Lugano. nothing. What's not to like?. Blenheim isn't the most lively place. Only a few places were open to eat on a friday night in summer! Most places to eat seem to be at wineries or out of the centre. A little noisy as on the junction of two roads - and we do like to sleep with an open window. Would have liked hot plates in kitchenette. There was nothing to dislike. N/a. Wifi was horrendously expensive. The doors to the tea making facilities are poorly designed/located. No bad points pity it was one night. no tissues!! otherwise lovely. Sofa beds in lounge area very uncomfortable. Nothing. bells ringing across the road. nothing. Stupid cubby hole for microwave.
