  The hotel was a block from the Rijksmuseum -- the breakfast room looked across the street to the back archway. We were two blocks from the Van Gogh Museum, and on the tram and bus lines that led everywhere. We were able to take a BUS to and from the airport by walking a few steps. Three major museums no more than 500 m away, canals also, supermarket nearby, plenty of food options, and the wonderful vondelpark. Good basic breakfast. Bed comfortable. Clean facilities. Good vibe.

  The hostel was clean and quiet. We were on the first floor and did not hear any noise all night. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly enough. It was also in a perfect location - not too close to the city center, but placed close enough to walk to the bars in 12 min. - Nice location easy access to everywhere.   Charles, the owner, was extremely attentive and helpful. He made us most welcome and wanted to make our stay as comfortable and as memorable as possible. He gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The peaceful location was excellent for getting to all the major attractions. The stocked kitchenwas a fantastic addition to our stay. Charles was a fabulous host! ThePark Mansion was so comfortable that it was a pleasure to come back torest and relax before the evening activities.   Ronald the owner was lovely and made us feel at home from the start, chocolate brownies on arrival with everything to make a pot of tea. Fridge in room and very large space for a couple staying. Breakfast was served in the morning, candle lit and tasty too. Wo - The room was excellent very tastefully furnished and overlooking Vondelpark which was great for watching the rush hour for bicycles! Ronald makes your stay very special as he provides a great breakfast just for you, has a very homely atmoshphere. There is also a coffee machine in the room and a small fridge. Would definately stay again.

  The location of Vossius Vondelpark is excellent - close to bus and tram stops but so easy to walk from that I never used public transport. The major museums and Heineken brewery are within 5 minutes walk. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the welcome from staff was warm and friendly at any hour of the day/night. We wanted to stay in the centre of town. The hotel is a few yards from Leidseplein. So location is great. We booked a small double, which was nice, clean and cosy. For breakfast we went to a bakery, so no comment on that. Will keep the hotel in mind for next stop in Amsterdam !
