We were two blocks from the Van Gogh Museum, and on the tram and bus lines that led everywhere. We were able to take a BUS to and from the airport by walking a few steps. Ronald makes your stay very special as he provides a great breakfast just for you, has a very homely atmoshphere. There is also a coffee machine in the room and a small fridge.   The location of Vossius Vondelpark is excellent - close to bus and tram stops but so easy to walk from that I never used public transport. The major museums and Heineken brewery are within 5 minutes walk. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the welcome from staff was warm and friendly at any hour of the day/night. We wanted to stay in the centre of town. The hotel is a few yards from Leidseplein. So location is great. We booked a small double, which was nice, clean and cosy. For breakfast we went to a bakery, so no comment on that. Will keep the hotel in mind for next stop in Amsterdam !
