  Loved the take of a modern Riad built in the traditional fashion located in the middle of the mayhem of the Souk of the old Medina. Ideally located to truly experience both the old and the new Marrakech. Why stay in the 'sterile' new city hotels and never experience Marrakech as it's meant to be experienced? What a place to escape to from the mayhem of the souks of the old Medina and the travails of the daily drudgery - The staff were very attentive and friendly. Thank you to Majid for delicious breakfast and great service. Great hostess who was checking on guests' feedback on daily basis. We appreciated being showed the way to the main square the first evening and that there was always a member of staff waiting on the corner of the main street to escort us to the riad late at night. Great facilities and atmosphere to escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh medina.

  We were moved to their sister hotel Dar Les Cigognes so that our rooms would interconnect properly. We stayed in rooms Sahara, painted like a fantasy desert complete with camels and starry sky, and Silver - an elegant four poster romance of a room. Both could not have been more perfect for their inhabitants. Their ex-nanny pastry chef taught the ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » kids (aged 7 & 9) how to make Moroccan pastries while Pierre - the ultra stylish manager who curates everything in the hotel with a connoisseur's - Staff were very warm and friendly (in particular the Manageress). Lovely traditional Moroccan decor, well appointed rooms, good pool. Food was also really good. Was also able to communicate with the staff via email before arrival to arrange our stay. Location was excellent, close to the Djemaa el fna, easy to find yet peaceful and quiet. We would not hesitate to stay at Riad Kaiss again.
