We loved our stay in Riad Houdou because of the beauty of the place, and the kindness and attention of Eric and Didier, the hotel proprietors, and all the lovely staff. I went with my two elderly aunts and we had a fantastic time. They made every effort to ensure that the place was comfortable and beautiful while respecting the Moroccan style and culture. They wanted to make us feel at home as their guests, but did not overwhelm us with attention and respected our space. Their kind / friendly r.
kaikki arvostelut » From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us. The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation. Break. This is a wonderful place. In just a few days my friends and I became very fond of the owners who were incredibly hospitable and helpful. On our first morning Eric guided us through Marrakech so that we wouldn't get lost, and throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble for them. There were many highlights but after a day or two, it seemed like staying with friends you have known for a long time! The location is fairly central but surprisingly quiet at night. I would recommend anyone goi. We loved the location and the Riad was beautiful there were fresh roses in our room and beautiful rose petals everywhere. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time the 2 owners were exceptionally helpful and kindness itself nothing was too much trouble. The evening entertainment was excellent we had a real taste of Moroccan life. It is an exceptional place and we would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Marrak. All the staff was impeccable, always willing and looking sate all our desires. The friendliness of the owners of the riad, Didier and Eric, the delicious food prepared by Rajid and Aziz's contagious sympathy, made our stay very enjoyable. The location of the riad, about 10 min walk to the Jemaa el Fna, was perfectly acceptable. Our way to the square and back to the riad was easy to find, after a first tour provided by Eric. If we ever return to Marrakesh, I will stay in this riad, no doubt. Very nice and comfortable riad, The attentions of Eric, Didier and the staff are always trying to make you feel good . Their welcome, explanations to move in the Medina, the decoration of the riad, all the very kind attentions we have received there, So many exquisite details..The breakfast on the yard is really pleasant abundant and good. The riad is a lovely building and you feel very well there. We recommend this riad to everybody without doubt.-. Great hospitality very friendly staff whom makes you feel at home. Didier and Eric are the perfect host. They have de most amazing cook. We had dinner every day. The rooms where very nice. We had a baby with us and they where very carring about him. You can ask everything. We also recomend the massage. There is a lot of attentions for details. Next time we will stay here again. The Riad was perfect. It was not just the Riad wich was very detailed and beautiful, but the staff. Warm and welcoming people. We had the most amazing meals thanks to the sisters Rajaa and Fatima Zahra, and it was served beautifully by Aziz. Didier and Eric were the perfect hosts. We loved dining with them. It was very cozy and we'd love to come again some time. I loved my stay at the Riad Houdou. Didier and Eric are kind and gracious hosts and the staff there is amazing.Marrakech is a wonderful yet busy, noisy city and this riad is the perfect oasis in the city. I would go back again in a minute. Love, love, love. Stunning riad with each room presented in a unique way. Facilities are excellent. The breakfast was the best we have had in Morocco! Owners and staff make the place feel like home from home. Wonderful!. Don't miss out on staying at a most friendly, luxurious Riad where every last whim is accommodated. The owners are wonderful hosts and this is the perfect oasis of beauty and calm within the medina. A beautifull Riad, a little oasis in the bustling city. Very helpfull staff and a great dinner. Attention to detail (flowers and rose leaves everywhere) was great. We will go back!. The riad was charming and comfortable with great attention to detail and the hosts, Didier and Eric, and their staff couldn't have been more helpful and sociable. I loved this Riad and would recommend it to all my friends and family. Hopefully one day I will get the chance to come back to the Riad. just fantastic in every department. Perfectly presented and hosted. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Marrakech. staff kindness, confort and design of the building and equipment, marrocain cuisine refinement. Absolutely beautiful inside. Really friendly, lovely atmosphere, great homemade food. Location, calm, decoration, atmosphere of the riad, the owners act as real hosts. A quite and relaxed atmosphere in the heart of medina. My only regret is that we didn't have more evening meals in the riad. No complaints at all. There was nothing that we didn't like. Everything was perfect, except for the access road to the riad, which was in repair works. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. We only stayed one night and didn't venture far, but it might be difficult to find the way back if you venture out in to Marrakech at night. The bed was really hard (apparently it's difficult to find good mattress in Morocco but we had better beds in some other riads).
