We just got back from a week’s holiday in Marrakesh where we 2 young ladies stayed at Riad Dar Coram under the care of our Aunti Nicole (That is how we started calling her after a few days). We really felt like someone was taking care of us and tried to help and advise us the best way she can. I got sick day 3 and spent almost 2 days inside the Riad and Nicole really did her best to make me feel better like taking the Tea to my room when I didn’t show up at breakfast (which were really nice fr.
kaikki arvostelut » We are a couple that just spent a few days in Marrakech and Essaouira, in Marrakech we stayed in riad Dar Coram and we had an amazing time. We travel quite a bit and we normally stay at litle hotels or b&b but I have to say this is the best I've ever been. Nicole, the owner is a wonderful woman that made us feel at home. She is really nice , give you all the information and advice that you might need and she truly wants you to have a lovely experience in marrakech. She also prepares amazing. From the start with booking confirmation followed by surprise email prior to arrival welcome was wonderful.Definitely recommend the airport taxi offered which will deliver you to the door where Nicole awaits with welcoming mint tea on the roof terrace.Riad facilities are excellent with good sized bedroom- large double bed as requested- sitting area with table and good shower etc. Varied and filling breakfasts taken on the sun terrace set us up for our daily wanderings.Nicole happy to discuss an. Located just a short walk from all the major sights in the medina, Dar Coram was a lovely place especially for a traveler who prefers to stay in a place removed from the normal tourist trappings. Nicole made me feel as if I were a guest in a friends home. Whether making sure I knew my way around, providing recommendations based on my interests, or just chatting about the nuances of life in Marrakech, Nicole was very knowledgable about the area. Guesthouse is located in a nicely refurbished courtyard house in a family neighborhood, a short walk to attractions but set away from the noise and crowds. Pleasant shaded balcony on the top floor. Nice selection of local-style foods served with breakfast. The owner, Nicole, is a true gem with an obvious dedication to making her guests feel comfortable and at home. She did so much to help me feel safe in the neighborhood, choose activities in the area, and make arrangements for the rest of my . Absolutely outstanding - from any point of view! Usually the owner of a place like this is living off site - often even on a different continent. Here your host ist a french woman who is living on site and is takeing outstanding care of her guests. Nicole made a big impact on the quality of my stay in Marrakech. She is not only providing you a quality stay that you are used from European/US guest houses but also very valualble assistance when planning your day. And every day starts with a reall. Staying in riad Dar Coram was great way to get to know Marrakech - it is very well located (in the heart of Medina, near all important locations like Ben Youssef Medresa, Djemaa el-fna square...) For the host, Nicole, it’s not enough to say that she is friendly – you will really feel like you have stayed at your aunt’s place :) . She will answer all your questions, give you great suggestions and every morning will introduce you some new Moroccan cuisine specialty :) I would definitely stay agai. I would recommend "Dar Coram" to all type of travelers! Hided deep in the Medina, but still close to the famous Djemaa el Fna square, this Ryad has the perfect location. The most important reason however to choose Dar Coram is because of Nicole. She is the perfect host and really takes good care of her guests. Nicole was always interested after a day of sight seeing, she gave good advices and served a delicious breakfast every morning. I would highly recommend a stay in Dar Coram!. Dar Coram is a fantastic riad to stay in Marrakech. The location is great, it is a 10 minute walk to the main square. The riad is very clean and there is a variety of rooms to choose from. The roof terrace is serene and lovely; the best place to start your day- having breakfast in in the sunshine. Nicole, the owner, is brilliant at recommending places to go, restaurants and will help you in any way she can! It is definitely value for money!. Absolutely lovely stay!!! Dar Coram exceeded every expectation and I can honestly say that this was one of the most delightful experiences out of my numerous travels. What made the stay exceptionally special was the owner who gave us amazing advice of places to visit/eat and the plentiful breakfast which changed every day. I would definitely recommend this Riad!!!. Nicole was a great host. She arranged transfers for us from the airport and to the Suprabus on our way to Ess. Hafida the assistant was also a lovely lady who prepared our breakfast and cleaned our room. Overall a great experience staying here with Nicole who always had time to make conversation and advice us on what to do, would recommend to others. We had a great time in Riad Dar Coram. Nicole is wonderfull en made us feel at home immediately. She's really helpfull en is interested is her guests. The rooms are clean and comfy, the breakfast is also very good! Close to the heart of the medina, but bot too close and very quiet at night. Nicole was excellent! She is an excellent host, always willing to help. The Riad is beautiful and is really close to everything. Make sure you take the taxi Nicole recommends from the airport to the Riad, otherwise it will be hard to get there. Everything was great, sometimes beyond expectations, thanks to Nicole, our host. nothing to dislike. Couldn´t think of anything... Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. There is no wifi in the room, only in the lower floor. That is a problem if you need to call via Skype after 10 pm. Nicole is somewhat strict about noise so don't expect to have too much fun in the common areas. Other than that the Riad is highly recommended.
