Receptionist was lovely. She made a special effort to have breakfast available early for us and another couple who were catching an early train to Marrakech. Nice sized room, well appointed. Good shower. Room has on top floor so it was very quiet and has its own balcony although you get a better view over Fes from the adjacent terrace. Fare from train station to car park is about 10 dirham but the drivers waiting outside the stations entrance will try to charge 3 or 4 times that. Just keeping.
kaikki arvostelut » Friendliness of the riad team - the two ladies were very helpful and knowledgeable, took me to a local hammam, arranged a henna for me. The riad itself is a hidden gem, indeed - luxurious rooms, well maintained and perfectly clean. Royal suite highly recommended, but all rooms have a charm of their own and are a nice choice. Location - 1 min away from one of the two main streets of the medina, yet still on a quiet street, close to a parking lot - ideal for our rentacar. Big thank you to the who. The staff was extremily kind, friendly, helpfull. The Riad is absolutely beautifull, dream like atmosphere, above expectations. The terrace has an amazing view over the Fes medina. The room is luxurious, all details are spotless. Location was ideal, a stones throw away from the hustle and bustle of the old Madina. Very beautiful old traditional Riad. Staff were extremely helpful and approachable. Breakfast was a bit plain but was certainly fresh. The Rooms are lovely, immaculately clean and maintained to a high standard. The locations is really good, close to the Medina but still very quiet. The location. The bathroom was the best of our trip. The breakfast is good. The terrace has a great view. Perfect location and rooms are excellent(especially the bathroom!). comfortable bed, nice room. Friendly staff (gerondis). All the staff are very friendly. Taxi drivers are a bit difficult to get to take you to the station in the morning. We think it is because of the heavy traffic at that time and the fare is only 10dh (about 1 euro ). We got a taxi by offering the driver 20 dh. Nothing to point to the staff or the delightful Riad itself. However be aware that the Taxi and transfer services are not correctly informed to the costumers. The riad kindly sends to the client an email with all the location and luggages transfer services assistance, however they do not informed of the true costs of those services which can be a not very pleasent surprise. It was sometimes hard to communicate with the staff as to what we needed. Don't stay at the last floor. The stairways will kill you... It is hard to find petit taxi.
