  I stayed in a double room with private bathroom. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and had windows (not so obvious in Malaysia).   Our usual Kota Kinabalu hotel was full so we hunted around for another good budget hotel. For us, this means a clean, quiet room with everything working and air con, but we're not after anything else, like freshly painted walls, colour coordination, throw pillows etc! City Park hotel is a little more expensive than our usual but the place is in a ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » slightly better state of repair. Everything worked and was clean. The aircon was super quiet and the electric shower worked fine. The staff were frie - The staff at City Park Lodge were the best things over there. The rooms were small and very basic but fine, but even when we missed our flight early the next morning they were very accommodating and helped us in whatever way they could!
